Hey all! Since I don’t always publish things in chronological order (I’m not really writing books, just story sequences), here’s your organizing post. Use this post to find content by genre, storyline, etc.
ESSAYS
Most are about real-world Chattanooga and environs, though some are written as if by a citizen of one of the made-up worlds. I generally try to tell the truth. List starts with the older ones (late 2022, I think) and goes.
FICTION
The Sanguine Experiment
This universe, but surreal. 1990s to the present.
Mad Art Project
Finished at last!
Sad Guy on the Bus
This one’s complete so feel safe to binge it. In fact, hurry up and binge it, because I’m removing it in its current form pretty soon.
Surreal Tender the Technomancer
Made up, post-steampunk universe. Our hero is a relic of steampunkery now wandering around rather lost in the age of subways, Henry Ford, Ballets Russes, and Mary Wigman. Her secretary and sidekick, Mr. Carker, is middle-aged, inoffensive sort of fellow — so far. I reckon this one is about halfway done, but I’ve left it alone to focus on the Mad Art Project.
Agent of Angels
This universe, but with angels. May delete back to the first story; I don’t feel like it has any legs as a story sequence. But the Agent of Angels short story’s a banger.
Free-Range Fiction
No particular universe
The Good Witch Universe
Magical doings in Chattanooga. Vampires, witches, disability, and homelessness. Some of these build on each other, but they’re mostly stand-alones with recurring characters.
